I really enjoyed this episode because you were totally transparent about your professional and personal life. I have been a freelancer myself for 4 years, and I am finding myself in difficulty at the moment, so even if I am not US-based, it was nice hearing how you are trying to find your footing in this world. I said I have been freelancing for 4 years, but for 3 years and a half, my main client has been the one bringing the most cash. It was like working a 9-to-5 from the comfort of my home, but they started giving me less work, impacting my income. I relate to you because now I realise I don't know how to promote myself and my work after 4 years of being in my comfort zone.
I related to you on many points. Though I didn't work in fashion media, I worked in luxury fashion e-commerce and don't see myself returning to an office. I am also writing on Substack, hoping it will become one of my income streams.
